Aloha, folks! I usually do a Travel Tuesday post every week, but things have been so cray cray. On the bright side, I’ve gotten settled into my new place and back into my training, running, and nutrition plan. On the flip side, though, my blogging game has been a teeny bit slack. Fear not, though, loves! I’m so excited to share some more pics from my life-changing trip to Northern Italy & Prague. Venice isn’t really considered too north, but it was the southernmost point we traveled to during our brief little adventure. I can’t express enough how kickass Venice is – it’s one of those things you have to see for yourself. We took a water bus (awesome, right?) from Venice’s main island to St. Mark’s Square, also known as Piazza San Marco. It was more touristy, touting pop-up shops with gaudy magnets, scarves, and souvenirs, but we got some good knick knacks to bring home and it wasn’t too crowded. The Piazza boasts St. Mark’s Basillica and the Doge Museum (among other things, of course) which we were told were definite must-see digs. Like so many places in Europe, the square is huge. Gigantic arches meticulously adorned with hand-carved designs, gold-plated ceilings, and overwhelming stained glass windows. It was beyond beautiful!
