Happy Travel Tuesday! As much as I dig fitness, these are my very favorite posts each week. Traveling is something so precious and priceless and beautiful – as anyone who’s crossed a few borders can tell you, each trip is life-changing. Every country impacts the spirit on some note. A piece of each place becomes a part of who you are.
I’m overwhelmingly stoked to that I am traveling to Europe this summer! I have no plan, no companion (as of the moment) and a few funds to speak of. Traveling the old-fashioned way, or senza un piano in Italian – without a plan.
But I have a ticket, and I’m hopping on a plane and chasing after some more travel-driven dreams of mine. Just me, my camera, my laptop, and lots of good vibes. And I have a feeling this will be one of the most memorable trips of my life.
I’m landing in Milan, Italy and traveling through Switzerland and then meeting up with some of my dad’s frat buddies in Prague. (They’re all meeting up in Prague some 30+ years later – how cool is that?) My dad, who is a kick-ass person to travel with, will hopefully meet up with me at some point. He loves Prague, and always hoped it would be something we would do together, since I’m his rolling-stone-border-crossing-mini-me.
I’ve never been to Italy, Switzerland or the Czech Republic – and Prague, as I’ve posted about earlier, is number one on my to-do list. Since I’ve already scoured through a zillion photos of Prague, I’d like to sport a few of Milan, Italy, today. If any of you out there have ever been, I’d love any & all advice! Especially involving where to get espresso, beer, and bruschetta. Not only is bruschetta naturally healthful and vegan, I love it. I could live off of it and real spaghetti alone.
You are easily having the most fun summer of anyone I know! Can’t wait to see all your adventures!
Thank youuuu 🙂 I am beyond excited! And I can’t wait to share everything!
